I was reading about Hart Island and came across this project. I play cello, Viola's name caught my imagination. So I searched to see if I could find a little about her. This is what I could find:
She had a daughter Dorothy who died in 2007. Viola was her mother, also known as Juliette. Viola was married to Alfred Paul Zabin 1895 - 1966. She lived for almost 20 years after his death.
