Vincenzo (Vincent) Pagliasso was born in Refrancore, Asti, Italy on the 15th of May 1894. Refrancore is a village in the northwestern Italian province of Asti in the Piedmont region.
Vincenzo departed Italy from the port of Naples and arrived in the United States in November of 1906. On the ship's manifest, his stated occupation is recorded as "countryman," which may imply that he was an agricultural laborer. It is also recorded that would be joining a brother currently living in Manhattan. Traveling with Vincenzo was Primo Pagliasso also of Refrancore.
On his WWII Draft Registration Card in 1942, Vincenzo is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall, with hazel eyes, brown hair and a dark complexion. Madelene Pagliasso is listed as his next of kin, although the relationship isn't noted.
Vincenzo Pagliasso died on the 13th of July 1985 and was buried on Hart Island on the 17th of September 1985.
