Victor Kosa appears in the film Sunshine Hotel. A film about one of the last ‘flophouses’ on the Bowery. A fascinating film that portrays men on the margins of society and gives the viewer an understanding of  how addiction, mental health issues, family problems can happen to anyone.

Victor was on the Bowery for 38 years. The weight of his thoughts was too much, he was a self taught philosophy student. Victor was a chronic alcoholic and it is heart breaking because he was an intelligent, articulate and lovely man who could have done so much,

RIP Victor. I had a feeling you would be on Hart Island and I found you. Sleep tight. You are remembered x
