My Mother is Thomas McGraths first cousin. His father was her Uncle Thomas McGrath.
His father was born in Tipperary in Ireland. He died at 49 in a swimming pool in New York. of a Heart Attack.
Thomas and Mary had 2 children, daughter Eileen and son Thomas (tommy).
We lost contact with Thomas, he moved a few times. My Mom Mary kept in touch with him for Holidays. One year she sent him a Christmas card and she got the card returned and the money in there too. She was informed he had died and was buried in Hart Island.
What ashame because his parents had a plot in Calvary in Queens.
We really want to come and visit Tommy at Hart Island.
