Thomas Charles Albers was born in Brooklyn on 23 September, 1915. He was born to Thomas Theodore Albers and Frances Albers (nee Swann).
In 1991, at the age of 75, Thomas fired shots at nine utility workers who were installing power lines across part of his property. He subsequently barricaded himself in his home for about an hour.
