Shenise Ross was a mother, a friend, a daughter, a sister, and a woman of Christ. You felt God in all things she did, and she loved the way God told her to love. When illness overwhelmed her, she did not shy away from the lord but instead pulled him closer and welcomed him.
Despite that, Shenise Ross did not want to die. She was not ready to pass on and wished to spend just one more minute with her daughter every day. And for 13 years of illness, she cherished those minutes. She counted them as she did her blessings.
And for the total of 22 years she spent with her daughter, she made sure she felt loved, loved as God loved His only Son, but also loved as a mother loves her only child.
Shenise Ross was not just Godly, but she was good. She was kind, and she was judgment-free. Her absence will be felt with each passing minute.
