Ruth Creel was born on November 3, 1921, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Arthur and Ruth (White) Hall. She lived in Maryland prior to 1951, and in Jamaica, Queens, New York in at least the early 1990's.
Ruth Creel died July 18, 1992 at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center. She is buried on Hart Island.
