Raymond Casimir Skibbons was born July 31, 1907 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Walter and Johanna Lois Skibbons.
In 1940 Raymond was living at 1206 Rockwell Street in Chicago, with his wife Helen and six year old daughter Barbara. Both Raymond and Helen had at least two years of high school education. Raymond was working as an office clerk for Surface Lines, with an annual income of approximately $1500.
At the beginning of World War II Raymond registered for the draft. He gave his address as 1222 N. Campbell Avenue in Chicago. He was employed by Chicago Surface Lines, which was located at North Avenue and Cicerol He did not mention a wife, but named his friend Fred Kozerovsky as "the person who will always know your address." Raymond was described as 5'10" tall, weighed 140 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair, and a light complexion.
Raymond began a new job as a trucker, working for the Chicago and North Western Rail Road. He was living at 5248 S. Honore Street.
Raymond's Social Security number was issued in Illinois before 1951, and his last recorded residence was in New York, New York.
Raymond Casimir Skibbons died on December 9, 1985. He was buried January 2, 1986 on Hart Island.
