Paul Bernfried was born March 24th, 1921 in New York to Anna Bernfried(1892) of Hungary. His only and elder sibling Joseph C. "Mizpah" Bernfried was born in Chicago 1915 and died in Wilmington, NC in 1999. Mr. Bernfried was a resident of Jamaica, Queens and passed away while a patient at the now-closed Mary Immaculate Hospital on January 25th, 2006 at the age of 85.
