Beloved brother of Eva Maria von Chamier. They escaped Nazi Germany as young children. She did not learn of his death until it was too late to reclaim his body or locate his remains. She spoke of him often and longed to know more about the disposition of his remains. Although she has also passed away now, she would have traveled from Oregon to New York City to light a candle near his burial ground, and indeed asked me to perform this function almost 20 years ago. I could find no information then, so am very grateful for this website. Blessings on both of their memories.
