Marie was born in Ohio on August 7, 1912. By 1920, she was living with her father Henry (born in Germany) and mother Carrie (born in Pennsylvania) and sister Louise on Wadsworth Avenue in New York.
Her sister Louise died in January 1920. By 1925, she and her father were living with friends. Based on Ancestry records, it appears her mother left after the death of Louise.
She lived with her father for many years. He died in 1964. After that, family tree details on Ancestry show that she may have been re-interred in Pennsylvania with her father at Sky View Memorial Park.
