Marc Gritz has been my friend since Kindergarden, our mothers were friends as well. We were both were born and raised in good old Coney Island. He lived on W. 33rd Street and I lived on W.35th Street both between Neptune and Mermaid Avenus. Marc was a wild kid growing up getting into all sorts of predicuments and trouble. He became a Opti-Man, had his own store in Staten Island Maul. He made the glasses and was very professional at what he done. Ronnie Lesman and I lived in Coney Island for a long period of time. Marc and his Best Friend Irwin Mandell use to come over many times, I made plenty of meals, we ate, drank, smoked our weed and played many games together for he was a regular, we specially loved to play Ping-Pong for we had a table and grove the Landlady Mary nuts. We all were very close great friends. Ronnie and I moved to Saylorsburg in the Poconos and Marc and his Mother Jean would come up to visit and stay quite often. He loved the house I had in the country and he lived with us for awhile. Then he went back to Brooklyn. I just found out about his death today Oct. 2019 and I feel very sad for he is with Ronnie as well. Hopefully happy together in Heaven. Miss you my old friend, will see you again soon. Your Old Friend, Pattie Ann Bohner For we had lots of laughs and sad times together. Until we meet up again. May you rest in peace now and forever and hopefully Jesus took mercy on your soul. I read some stories that you wrote in The Gazette and was proud of you. You struggled through life but no more.
