Maksym Iwaszyn b. August 13th 1908 in Poland. He was a holocaust survivor and refugee who had been at a resettlement camp in Ludwigsburg, Germany prior to seeking refuge in the United States. He was 43 years old when he arrived in New York City on October 4th 1951.
