Lily Kreeger Dregent was born November 20, 1909, in Bristol, England, the daughter of Abraham and Jane (Rosenberg) Kreeger.
She traveled to New York City from Liverpool, England on the S.S. Britannic, arriving on August 8, 1953. She gave her address as 220 W. 24th Street in New York City; and she was accompanied by Arline and Rosalind Dregent, of the same home address.
Lily once again traveled between NYC and England, flying alone to London on May 25, 1956, traveling on British Overseas Airways Corporation.
From at least 1957 through 1960, Lily lived just off of Times Square, at 142 W. 41st St. in Manhattan. In 1985 she lived at 344 W. 12th Street in the West Village neighborhood of New York City. From 1993 until her death in 1997 she lived at 2555 Youngs Ave. in Southold, New York, in a condo development called Founders Village on the far end of Long Island.
Lily Dregent died October 19, 1997, at Bellevue Hospital Center. She was buried on Hart Island, almost a year later, on August 20, 1998.
