Leopold Sylvester Boyd was born December 28, 1920, in Scharschmidt, Jamaica, in the Parish of Trelawny, the son of Abraham and Alice (Saberschmidt) Boyd.
Leopold lived on 191st Street in Hollis, New York; and prior to his death in 1998 he lived in Jamaica, Queens, New York.
Leopold Boyd died September 30, 1998, at Calvary Hospital, and was buried on Hart Island.
