Leonard Posner

Leonard Posner (Lenny) was born and raised in the Bronx. He was the only child of Jack and Helen Posner. Following the untimely death of his mother when he was only six, he lived with his father and maternal grandparents. Lenny's professional activities involved working with individuals with behavioral difficulties-- trying to help make their lives better. He had a small extended family and unfortunately was not part of their lives for years. What a shock it was when the family learned that he had passed away and was buried on Hart Island.
