Leo Vizcarrondo might have been his government name, but to me he will always be Skippy. This post is 5 years in the making, its amazing how fas the time has passed since finding this project. Skippy was one of my father's best friends.  Skip had family but it was dysfunctional they all went separate ways and didn't really talk. Due to that Skip lived on the streets homeless. He would sometimes come to the house and my dad will let him stay over a couple days so he can have a hot shower as some food provided by my mom. Me and him have close birthdays, he would always mention that every time he come over he'd always say "your birthday is March 4th I remember cuz its lose to my birthday". Skippy LOVED to smoke weed. I remember he would bring my dad some and say "Tony you gotta try this, its Dynamite!" Skip reminded me  of Snoop Dogg, he was soft spoken, laid back and loved getting high.  When my dad found out about skips passing it really bothered him a lot and to this day he misses and talks about him whenever the opportunity or the subject came up. My father and I truly believe Skippy didn't deserve the go the way he did, he was told that he had been stabbed up by some young kids. But we don't know over what. We also feel it is sad that for someone who had family regardless of the dysfunction that he would be buried at Hart island.  If I could afford it I would exhume him and give him a proper burial so we could visit him, he deserves that much. I wish he was around today so he could meet my son, also keep my dad on his toes. As many people don't come by to see my father as they use to. My dad has so many stories of Skippy it's always good to listen to him talk I love it and I know he misses him a lot. I wish there was more you to say about Skippy. Honestly I can say I consider Skippy an Uncle. He was good to me and my brother, he loved my dad and  mom.  On that note Skippy I just wanna let you know we love you, we miss you and I hope you're  resting in peace.  Gone but never forgotten. God bless.
