Hi I’m Jules Chavers affectionately known as “Will or Willie” I was a long standing street musician in Cleveland Ohio, Canada, all up and down the east coast. One day I left Cleveland Ohio for New York City. There was nothing really going for me in Cleveland Ohio. I made my way by train and my guitar. I performed in the streets and subways of New York City! I had a blast, music was my passion. I was also a Music Professor at the college level. I overcame hardships, Learned discipline and stood up for what was right. I was a Black Nationalist (POWER TO THE PEOPLE) I believed in building up the black community. I lived, I loved, I enjoyed my life. I leave 3 children in Cleveland Ohio Charise Mayfield, Joe Mayfield and Precious Anderson. 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren to carry on my legacy.
