Joseph Sandor

Josef Sandor was born June 18, 1908 in Norway to Hungarian parents names Laslo and Sophie Sandor. He arrived at Ellis Island with his family on August 18, 1912 at age 4. His family appears in a 1915 NY Census with a total of 6 children at that time. Later Josef became Joseph and married Edna Whitcomb in 1929. They had at least one child named Edna and lived with the inlaws for more than 10 years according to the census records - mostly in Queens. He was a trucker and auto mechanic. Joseph's last residence was in Long Island City, Queens, 11102. He died December 8, 1983.
