Even though I wasn't sure what I wanted to say to you after so many years, the finality of death hits hard. Losing my mother a few months ago in March 2025 pushed me to look for you much more. Finding you — and then losing you instantly is difficult. Especially since it's been over 37 years since I've seen you. I truly feel crushed after trying to find you sooooooo many years or simply the unfairness of finally finding you too late. Feels like I lost both parents in 1 year even though you've been laid to rest over 30 years now.
I've even tried to find every & any family members from your side, but no luck.
So many unanswered questions, the relationship that never happened ... but I'll always love you and cherish the memories I DO have. until we meet again Dad, Joseph Diaz
