John (Johan) Rudolf Puusner was born in 1916 in Parnu, Estonia, a picturesqe town located on the Baltic Sea. For several years he traveled the world as an Able Bodied Seaman. His world travels are well documented on Ancestry.com.
He is described on his WWII Draft Registration Card as being 5 foot 8 inches tall with blonde hair, blue eyes and a light complexion.
John Rudolph Puusner died at the Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center in New York on 23 September 1996 and was buried on Hart Island 7 November 1996.
