James J. Barbarusis was born February 26, 1890 in Blatsty (Vlasti), Greece. He came to America April 15, 1907 on the ship "Gerty." He petitioned for naturalization September 28, 1923. James worked as a waiter, and later, in 1942, for the "Broadway Famous Food Shop". James was married to Rosa Irene Panzetti on May 7, 1921 in Manhatten, NY. The couple divorced in Palm Beach, FL in 1947. James J. Barbarusis died October 10, 1985.
