Imre Feher was born October 17, 1916, in Hungary, the son of Laszlo and Terezia (Kocsis) Feher.
Imre arrived at the port of New York City on February 15, 1957, traveling on the S.S. Gen. Nelson M. Walker. He was accompanied by a woman, (presumably his wife) Ilona K. Feher, who was born in Budapest, Hungary on January 24, 1910.
The couple lived for a time in New Jersey, where Imre and Ilona both acquired their American Social Security numbers.
In the 1990's the couple lived in Phoenix, Arizona; at 1233 Elm Street, and at 5050 N. 11th Avenue.
Imre Feher's last mailing address was in Brooklyn, New York. He died May 10, 2002 at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, and was buried on Hart Island. Ilona died less than two years later, on January 20, 2004 at the Peninsula Hospital Center, and is also buried on Hart Island.
