Ilona K. Feher was born January 24, 1910, in Budapest, Hungary.
She arrived at the port of New York City on February 15, 1957, traveling on the S.S. Gen. Nelson M. Walker. She was accompanied by a man (presumably her husband), Imre Feher, who was born October 17, 1916 in Hungary, the son of Laszlo and Terezia (Kocsis) Feher.
The couple lived for a time in New Jersey, where Ilona and Imre both acquired their American Social Security numbers.
In the 1990's the couple lived in Phoenix, Arizona; at 1233 Elm Street, and at 5050 N. 11th Avenue.
Imre Feher's last mailing address was in Brooklyn, New York. He died May 10, 2002, at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, and was buried on Hart Island. Ilona Feher died less than two years later, on January 20, 2004 at the Peninsula Hospital Center, and is also buried on Hart Island.
