For the past 37 years, he has been listed under the name of his father. His name was Randolph Robinson. The youngest child of Henry Robert Robinson Jr and Victoria Steele Robinson, born on April 7, 1953 in Moore County, North Carolina. He was found on the streets in Queens on Oct. 6, 1984 and according to his amended death certificate, he was buried Oct 7, 1984 in Hart's Island.
His siblings were Larry Steele, Frederick Novel Robinson Sr, Anna Rosita Robinson, Kenneth Robinson, DeLeon Christopher Izi, Booker T Lamont Izi and Robert Leverne Verbal, who is his' half-brother and the main resaon why the clock is being stopped today.
He married a woman named Rosa Mae Ruffin in NYC in 1971 and was the father of three sons name Lamar Witherspoon, Randy Williams and Jamaal Robinson.
My uncle Robert didn't know him or any of his father's family as he wasn't apart of his life until the last 10 of his father's and he always wanted to know this side of his family. So I took it upon myself to research and investigate Henry Robert Robinson Jr and this was one of his "hidden secrets" as by the time of Randolph's death, two brothers and his mother were deceased, another brothe married with a family and his only sister, who was battling her own drug addiction that lead to her death from AIDS in 1988.
So today we stop the clock, and now let the world know that the man who is listed here is actually named Randolph Robinson.
