A speech from Liz's bio mom Rachel

Liz:
My 🌈 rainbow!
I sit and ponder just what it is I want to say. Soo many thoughts and words, yet it’s just a jumbled mess. It will come out right as I progress through this beautiful tribute to you.
Thank you to those wonderful “ family/friends” /peeps that have showed up today & or wished they were able to come.
Today is to honor our beloved Liz!
Rainbow:
When Liz was born I wrote a poem to her. It said she’d forever be my rainbow.
Liz is  absolutely every color of the rainbow and more.
She is the beauty , vibrancy, and intensity of every color.
She was the calm before the storm and at times she WAS the storm.
She was the warmth of sunshine that dampened the cloudiest of days.
She was every artist dream, even if they had not a clue as to the art that she would bring.
She was the life of the party that brought tears of joy and laughter from the pit if your belly.
As unique as every rainbow you ever did see… that what my Elizabeth was. She was way misunderstood by many and the absolute pit of others heart & soul. She’d go with out food, drink, water, or sleep to see the laughter on your faces.
She needed the comfort of your hearts, minds, souls to keep herself upbeat.
Through sickness and health she wanted to be there for everyone of you & then some & in a blink of an eye she would be silent to calm her own mind or to hide her fears and sickness. It came in many forms, and NO MATTER WHAT each and everyone of us she adored and loved.
So you may hurt inside and she’d want you to reach out for help & support… whether it be sadness, darkness, pain, addiction, depression get the fucking help!
Now, to every last person that has known her EACH & EVERYONE of you had a purpose in her life!!! She loved you and at the very moment or many times she was with you, in your presence or just bypassing she needed and wanted you.
Adore the beautiful rainbow. Never let the light get so dim that the colors fade and wash away.
So let’s toast up in the air… a peace sign, a middle finger, and every fucking time you see a Panda rise up and shout out … this is for you Elizabeth!!! This one’s for you! If you’re into tattoos get one no matter how small or what unique design or pattern put sone art on yourselves in memory of her!!
My momma heart …. Oh it hurts like hell. She was way past my mini- me!! I can’t even tell ya how much that baby girl meant to me. What I do know even if I get lost & pissed off is that Liz is finally at P.E.A.CE!
So cry your eyes out, then dry those tears, she’d want you to dance your asses off in her honor!
Liz was & forever will be a Rainbow!
A beautiful soul that burst at the seams with every color you can imagine & have ever seen. She was a large variety of colors that will live on in each one of us.
Love you all! Thank you for being a part of Liz’s life! Let’s celebrate this little light of mine!
Rest on high grounds baby girl.

Let us all rise from the ashes.
A letter from me,

Now that Liz is no longer here to tell us all her story, we will carry it on. Carry on all parts of her She instilled and impacted in us. Share with the world little parts of her. Now it's our turn to tell her story and keep her memory alive... as she will always be with us in our hearts

Liz was a dear friend to all of us

And the funny thing is, the best people always seem to find us in the darkest places. Much as liz did, for many of us

As people we are constantly growing and changing, or at least we should be. Being stagnant in life is not healthy, we must grow to live and fulfill ourselves.  But it's also important to recognize what we have infront of us, stop looking for the next thing, and appreciate what we have as we grow and realize the things that help us grow and let go of what no longer does. Liz did all of this, and so much more. She never stopped looking, and appreciating the world around. Although some times got dark... perhaps even alot...she still strived for the light... fought for it

She made an impact wherever she went, even if she didn't realize or know it. She changed my life in many ways... and nothing bad seemed to matter when she was around... she made me feel like I could be the best version of me... as I hope she had with many of you

I never really understood the pain it was to loose someone. The significance of a photograph. Not until now. I have lost a lot of people around me, many with significance. But i never truly felt it, understood it, or felt what most people feel. Not until liz... but now i get it... the importance a picture captures, when you loose a person's you can no longer see, feel, no longer touch... you just have the pictures, to remind you of the beauty that once was.

I'll never forget the smile on her face or the excitement she showed when she spoke of something she loved like groot, batman, or that new eminem song that came out. The passion she had was unforgettable. Even the suptle smell of smoke reminds me of her

The radio station currently set in my car was by liz many years ago. I never had the heart to change it... and now i never will. She set it to the country station... so now when my phone dies or i listen to the radio, it feels like im listing to a part of her

Now most years I spent Christmas alone... but one year I spent it with liz, it was hands down the best Christmas of my life. It was just after she got back from Hawaii, and it was unforgettable. We had a lot of fun that day, eating, drinking, and watching all the kids Christmas cartoons... I even got her to watch mickeys Christmas Carol and mickeys christmas story.. she admitted it was cute despite not liking the micky mouse cartoons... Christmas won't be the same this year without the holiday spirt she brang. She always loved the holidays... even though holidays can be pretty rough for a lot of us

it's been hard for me to think about liz, because I tend to block things out that pain me... but even though... those times I cherish. Because liz let the moments shared flow with warmth, even when times were tough... so now, id like to finish my speech with some poems i wrote about liz, one old and one new, and than a toast in honer of liz

(Poem i wrote about liz)
The coligrapy of your words are like the vibrations of the earth, the waves in the sea. How blessed one must be, to cross paths with thee. The gaze of your stare, fills the world with what's there. The beauty and light, of all your might. The strength that you share, gives hope
to ones once there

(Poem I wrote about liz)
I never saw a view so beautiful than I have the one in her eyes. It felt at times like my life was fleeting into a world full of her light. It consumed my capture, it was a gaze i held so dear. I longed for that type of kindness, Understanding. In a world where she was just there

Perhaps we will meet again in another life... when we are both cats - vanilla sky
