Douglas DePass was born in 1925, in New York City to mother, Minnie Cardoza. Minnie, and sisters Louise, Muriel and Vy, were born in Spanishtown, Jamaica. Douglas attended Bronx Science High in New York and worked briefly in social work in New York. We believe, under better circumstances, Douglas may have thrived, prospered and taught many of us the meaning of care and humanity.
