Donnie White

My father left this world without anyone by his side. He was the father of 8 children 4 girls and 4 boys.  I am the oldest and no I didn't grow up with him.  It wasn't completely his fault.  He was born in North Carolina to Mr. Jack White and Doretha Rasberry White.  He was part of a family of 11 children.  New York for some reason didn't think it necessary to contact his family.  In fact we didn't find out that he had passed until I began searching for him.  With the help of a friend I was given the news that he had died 4 years prior to my family and I knowing.  I am grateful that I had the opportunity to know him and sadden that we never had a chance to just sit and really talk.  It amazes me that the doctor put on his death certificate no next of kin.  I was his kin and so were my siblings.  We  have been robbed of our opportunity to bring him home.
