Claudie Dyson was born Claude Affus Dyson on Aug. 25, 1917 in Wilmer, Tangipahoa, Louisianna. His parents were James Thurley Dyson aka Jim and Ethel Williams. He had many brothers and sisters as per the census (1920 & 1930) documents I reviewed.
As per the 1940 Census he had a wife named Myrtis.
As per the Louisanna First Reg. Draft Card dated Oct. 16, 1940.
He was 6 foot one inch tall. He weighed 172 lbs., he had brown eyes and hair with a black complexion. His race is listed as Negro. On this document his wife is listed as Myrtis Saline Dyson. They were living in Tangipahoa, LA.
I found a family tree on an Ancestry website that listed the maiden name of his wife as Brigg's.
I did not know Mr. Dyson personally but I am happy that I could give him back his family. Rest in Peace Mr. Dyson.
