Charles Keener was born March 4, 1890, in New York City. From at least 1930 to 1942 he lived in Brooklyn. He gave his occupation as an iron worker employed by the railroad. He lived at 99 Ralph Ave. in Brooklyn, and his landlady was a woman named Ida Reardon, who was identified as "the person who will always know your address" on his 1942 draft card.
Charles Keener died September 3, 1985 at Parkway Hospital, and was buried on Hart Island.
